The aim of these awards is to promote and to become known the Spanish virgin olive oils of more organoleptic quality, thus encouraging to the olive oil producers to obtain and commercialize quality olive oils. This is the fifth occasion that DAURO, the olive oil of Bodegas RODA which is made in the Ampurd\u00e1n, receives this award by the Spanish Ministry of Agriculture.<\/p>\n<p>DAURO has also received a Big Mention in the\u00a0<em>&#8220;Oil China Competition 2012&#8221;<\/em>\u00a0an event held on April 1st in the<em>&#8220;China international Exhibition of Olive Oil &amp;\u00a0Edible Oil&#8221;<\/em>. From the 16 prizes awarded in the category &#8220;Intense&#8221;, the Spanish olive oils have received eight prizes, a record that exceeds to direct competitors such as Italy (five prizes), Portugal or Greece (one prize each).<\/p>\n<p><strong>An olive oil very award-winning<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The olive oil DAURO has become a reference in the field of haute cuisine and has received a constant recognition both national and international. It was chosen as the best olive oil in\u00a0<em>Les Etoiles de Mougin<\/em>\u00a0before a prestigious judge formed by international chefs who were very demanding with the quality of the foodstuffs.<\/p>\n<p>DAURO has also received on five occasions a Special Mention in the competition\u00a0<em>Sol D&#8217;Oro<\/em>\u00a0of the\u00a0<em>&#8220;International Exhibition of Virgin and Extra-Virgin Olive Oil&#8221;<\/em>, the most important world competition of the olive oils.<\/p>\n<p>All these awards prove time and again the excellent valuation of this olive oil recognized from its beginning.
